When Expert Assistance Matters
If you have been arrested and charged with child sexual assault, child abuse, incest, gross sexual imposition, aggravated child physical abuse, domestic violence, or similar offenses, and you maintain your innocence, do not proceed to plea negotiations or trial without expert assistance.
Likewise, if you are a parent who has lost custody without just cause, have been accused by Child Protective Services of failure to protect, Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another, or coaching a child to make false allegations, expert consultation may be essential.
If your children are at risk of removal by CPS, or your case is already before a juvenile court, expert review can be a critical component of your legal strategy.
Why Attorneys Need Experts
Attorneys practice law. Expert witnesses provide professional opinions.
In cases involving CPS intake workers, protective investigators, child forensic interviewers, detectives, advanced practice registered nurses conducting sexual abuse examinations, and therapists, attorneys often require assistance from qualified experts who can evaluate investigative methodology and challenge witness credibility.
Mr. Tong possesses extensive experience in this field and assists counsel in preparing for contested hearings and trials involving complex allegations and high-conflict family dynamics.
